Under the new guidelines set forth in a May 14 decree by the Diocese of La Crosse, public Sunday Masses will resume at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe at their normal times beginning May 31, 2020.  The Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate will continue offering the daily Mass privately, that is, without public announcement or the invitation of the public.

The Shrine’s grounds, pilgrim center, votive candle chapel, rosary walk, stations of the cross, devotional areas, and Shrine Church will remain open during normal hours for personal prayer and reflection.  The Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate will continue to offer the Sacrament of Reconciliation daily at 11:45 a.m.  Individuals must observe physical distancing at a minimum of 6 feet from those outside of your household.

During this time of great need you are encouraged to send in your prayer intentions to be remembered the Friars of the Immaculate, staff, and volunteers.

The Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe is monitoring the COVID-19 situation very closely.

For more information on the Shrine’s response to the coronavirus, please see the attached COVID-19 Prevention and Mitigation Plan.
