The Solemnity of Corpus Christi begins at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe when the doors open at 8:00 a.m. to make available the Sacrament of Penance at 8:30 a.m. The Shrine’s usual Holy Mass in the Extraordinary Form at 9:00 a.m. will be followed at 10:15 a.m. by the first of two Eucharistic Processions. The Shrine’s weekly Spanish Mass at 11:00 a.m. will not be followed by a Eucharistic Procession. After the Shrine’s 1:00 p.m. Mass in English, the Shrine’s second Eucharistic Procession will begin at 2:00 p.m.

Each of the Shrine’s Eucharistic Processions will start in the Shrine Church, then move out of the Church into the piazza, process past the Memorial to the Unborn, then move along the Outdoor Stations of the Cross, until finally returning to the piazza and into the Shrine Church. The duration of each Eucharistic Procession will be approximately 30 minutes, followed immediately by an offering of hospitality in the Church crypt, the first beginning around 10:45 a.m., the second around 2:30 p.m.
