The Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe is offering adult chant classes on Saturdays from October 28 — December 2, 2023 at 9:30am-12:00pm. The instructor is Scott Turkington, who has taught courses in Gregorian chant in many parts of the U.S., over many years. This step by step class will focus on Solfège, 11th Century neumes,  rhythm, style, conducting and choral unity. Course Fee: $150 for all six weeks. While the student will be expected to bring his or her own chant book, additional materials will be provided.
