A Great Gift from Jesus to you:

Help save the world and bring it back to God.

Consecrate yourself to Divine Mercy, on Divine Mercy Sunday!!!

On Divine Mercy Sunday,
we will invite everyone to make the Consecration to Divine Mercy, after the Divine Mercy Chaplet and before Benediction.

Why should one make the Consecration to Divine Mercy?

God, in His merciful love, wants us to turn to Him in our daily struggles.  We need to be constantly saying “yes” to Him.  By consecrating ourselves to His Merciful Love, we are saying, “yes, we want to be loved by Him and receive all of the mercy He is offering to us.”  God mercifully gave us Mary’s apparitions in Fatima 100 years ago, asking us to turn away from sin and back towards His loving arms.  The traditional gift for the 100 year anniversary is a 10 carat diamond.  Think of this “yes” – the Consecration to Divine Mercy –  as the 10 carat diamond you are giving to God.

Schedule for Divine Mercy Sunday

Available for purchase in the Gift Shop.

To prepare to make the Consecration to Divine Mercy, please obtain a copy of “33 Days to Merciful Love” by Fr. Michael Gaitley.  This book is a Retreat in Preparation for Consecration to Divine Mercy, which you can do on your own, or perhaps there is a group at your parish or a nearby parish.  The book is divided into 33 sections, 1 section per day to read and spend time in reflection on what is presented.

The day to begin is March 21st.  However, if you can’t begin on March 21st, begin when you can — just make sure you make the journey of “33 Days to Merciful Love” in time for Divine Mercy Sunday.

Here is an article that explains the origins of the Consecration to Divine Mercy.
