Our Holy Father said in his Bull of Indiction, announcing the Jubilee of Mercy: “Pardon is a force that can give rise to new life and infuse courage took with hope to the future.”  In a homily, Pope Francis called the Church to offer “more evident signs” of God’s presence and closeness: “We need to be vigilant and to reawaken in ourselves the capacity to see what is essential.”

small-IMG_3189To answer the call of the Jubilee of Mercy, the Shrine has increased the amount of time available for Confessions.  For details on these changes and other changes, beginning this first week of January, throughout the Jubilee of Mercy, please go to our Devotional Schedule page:

Remember to enter into the Heart of Mercy through the Holy Door!  And, renewed in the graces of mercy, exit the Church through the Holy Door, and share mercy with others in doing spiritual and corporal works of Mercy.
