At the Shrine, the first Saturday of May, which follows Saint Peregrine’s feast day, is observed as “Saint Peregrine Day of Prayer for the Sick”.  This year, “Saint Peregrine Day” will be observed on Saturday, May 6, 2017.

At the conclusion of the 12:15pm Mass, a general Rite of Blessing for the Sick will be given with the First-class Relic of St. Peregrine, followed by an opportunity for individual veneration of the relic.

The Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick – reserved for those with cancer and other serious illness – will be available 15 minutes following conclusion of relic veneration. Those who wish to receive this Sacrament of the Catholic Church should present themselves prior to the 12:15PM Mass to one of the friars.

Confessions are available before and after Mass.
