Naming a Deceased Unborn Child

“Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you; before you came to birth, I consecrated you; I have appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”         (Jeremiah 1:5)

visitation-1The purpose of the Naming a Deceased Unborn Child is to honor the innocents who for some reason have not made it to birth, whether by abortion, miscarriage, or some other reason. Here each baby, a unique gift from God, is given the dignity of a name.

If you, a loved one or a friend, have had a baby die before birth, you are invited to enter the name of the baby below. The baby’s name will be added to the book of prayer intentions at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

All information gathered on this page is confidential. Only the first name, year and country will be listed in the book of intentions.
