Discover Wisconsin produced a show featuring the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, along with the other Marian Shrines in Wisconsin, in an episode that aired April 1-2, 2017. The episode, title “Spiritual Wisconsin – Wisconsin’s Marian Shrines” can be viewed here.
History was made on Saturday, December 10, 2016 when, for the first time ever, a Tridentine Pontifical High Mass was offered at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Raymond Cardinal Burke was the celebrant and, among other beautiful observations, His Eminence spoke of the glories of the Traditional Latin Mass. The Cardinal also expressed his desire to begin offering the old Mass more frequently.
Msgr. Joseph Hirsch, of the Diocese of La Crosse, partnered with Justin McGrath and his team at Higher Concept Media to create ‘The Salvation Poem‘ music video at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The poem was composed by Matt and Sherry McPherson, translated by Sammy Gondola and published by McHouse Publishing.
The Shrine Church was completed in 2008, and dedicated on July 31, 2008.
