International Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima to visit the Shrine

IPVS imageThe International Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima is on U.S. Tour through next year in celebration  of the 100th Anniversary of the apparitions and message of Our Lady of Fatima.

The tour of the International Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Fatima is a nation-wide call to prayer and penance for peace in our nation and conversion of hearts. Prayer is more powerful than any army on earth. Our Lady promised, “in the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph.”

The tour and your prayers will create an outpouring of grace to allow Our Lady of Fatima to claim her dominion over our country through her Immaculate Heart.

The Pilgrim Virgin Statue will visit 100 Dioceses during the U.S. Tour, and in October the Pilgrim Statue will be in Wisconsin.  The Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe will be one of the sites in the Diocese of La Crosse to host the Fatima Pilgrim Statue.

Please join us to hear the story of Fatima and venerate this beautiful statue that set out from Fatima in 1947 to bring the graces of Fatima to all who might not ever be able to make a pilgrimage to Fatima, Portugal. Hundreds of favors and graces, including cures, and countless conversions are associated with the image.

The presence of this special Statue (sculpted by Jose Thedim in 1947, based on Sr. Lucia’s description of her encounters with Our Lady) is a great gift to the Shrine, the Diocese of La Crosse, and to all the faithful who come here.

O Queen of the Rosary, Sweet Virgin of Fatima, who has deigned to appear in the land of Portugal, we beg you to watch over our dear homeland and assure its moral and spiritual revival.
Bring back peace to all the nations of the world so that all, our own nation in particular, may be happy to call you their Queen and the Queen of Peace. Amen.
Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for our country.
Our Lady of Fatima, obtain for all humanity a lasting peace.

Fatima – 100th Anniversary of Our Lady’s Apparition

“I came to ask you to come here for six consecutive months, on the thirteenth day, at this same hour. I will tell you later who I am and what I want. And I shall return here again a seventh time.”

“I wish you to come here the 13th of next month; that you say the Rosary every day, and that you learn to read. In succeeding months I will tell you what else I want.”

“When you recite the Rosary, say at the end of each decade: Oh My Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, and lead all souls to Heaven, especially those in most need of Your Mercy.”

“I want you to continue to go to the Cova da Iria on the 13th, that you continue to say the Rosary every day. I, in the last month, will make the miracle that all will believe.”

“I want you to come here on October 13 and that you continue to recite the Rosary to obtain the end of the war. In October the Lord, the sorrowful Lady, the Lady of Mt. Carmel, and St Joseph with the child Jesus, will also come to bless the world.”

“I am the Lady of the Rosary, I desire here a chapel in my honor to be built, that people continue to recite the Rosary every day…”
