Blocking continues and windows start to take shape. The
scaffolding in the background is in preparation for the
construction of the Church dome.

February 25, 2005
Steel frame for the main aisle of the Church quickly goes into
place and the immensity of the project dawns on everyone.

February 22, 2005:
The first steel girder is placed on the newly poured first
floor of the Shrine Church.

February 14, 2005: The first floor of the Shrine Church
is poured.
This milestone in the construction project was marked
by the pouring of approximately 320 yards of concrete and a crew
of over 15 dedicated individuals. The weather was
favorable and in just under six (6) hours, we had a floor!
